"Service You Deserve, Someone You Trust" is a mission statement that exemplifies West's professional career in Real Estate Consulting and Marketing.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, perfectionist is a quality West learned early from his father, a designer and builder of custom homes. In Chicago's North Shore, West obtained more hands-on experience of the building trade from his uncle, a contractor, by working various construction jobs in the summer, while studying architecture in high school and college.

A 1984 graduate of Oral Roberts University, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, West received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in communications. West also received a second chance at life, at approximately the same time, being declared a cancer survivor after a six year bout with Hodgkin's Disease. The experience reinforced West's conviction that life is a precious gift from God, and not to be taken for granted.

West's professional background includes business management, marketing and public relations. He has served as a Public Relations Director for an international company that promoted student exchange. The experiences helped him sharpen his skills as a well-respected marketer and businessman. In order to widen his cultural diversity, West lived and worked in southwestern Europe for two years before returning to Pasadena to set down roots.

A Realtor since 1993, West believes his degree in communications, managerial and building experience, architectural knowledge both in design and history, as well as his marketing skills developed as a Public Relations Director and home sales history give him the necessary tools to provide his clients with superior service. He currently holds the position of Branch Manager for the South Pasadena Office of Dilbeck Realtors enlisting his expertise to helping agents in his office close their clients transactions successfully and keep them up to date on their knowledge of the Real Estate Profession. From 1998-2002 and 2004-2010 West's peers have elected him to reside on the Pasadena-Foothills Board of Directors. Three of those years as Treasurer, Vice President '99 & '07, President Elect '08 and President '09 and Immediate Past President '10 and is now termed out of service.

West has been a California Association of Realtors Director for 13 consecutive years and is vice chair of '11's Local Government Forum as well as a National Association of Realtors Director helping to shape the future of real estate in our area & state as well as a legislative advocate for private property and home owner rights.  He is on Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation Board of Directors (PFAR's Charitable Arm) and Strategic Planning Committee as well as Budget and Finance Committee. West has completed his studies and obtained the nationally recognized GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) as well as e-PRO designations in order to further advance his profession of choice.

Professional Recognition includes Pasadena-Foothills Association's 2002 recipient of "Realtor of the Year", multiple nominations for Dilbeck Realtors highly coveted "Raymond T. Dilbeck Award". In the past West served as chairman of "A Taste of Old Pasadena" for seven consecutive years a PFAR local Charity event.

West and his family have been residents in South Pasadena since 1996.  In his spare time he gives back to the community by assisting his daughter's softball and soccer teams.  He is currently in his eighth season as an AYSO Referee.  West enjoys the outdoors, especially camping with his wife, Leah and daughters, Clarque & Amelia. West is an avid guitar player and music lover, he plays contemporary worship music for the children at his church. Most importantly, West and his family are active in their church developing their walk with God.
